Floyd Fuller began Fuller Tax Service in 1970 by preparing income tax returns for area farmers, using his 15 years of experience in Farm Management. The business grew quickly to include families and friends in the tri-county region.
In 2000, Floyd’s daughter, Mary, joined the business to allow her Dad to transition to retirement. Mary had been involved with the business from the beginning as a teenager, checking returns for accuracy the old fashion way – BY HAND! Prior to returning to Fuller Tax Service, Mary spent 22 years working in industry for P B & S Chemical and then Bristol Myers-Squibb holding positions in Accounting, Purchasing and Marketing.
Mr. Fuller retired totally in 2010, and went to be with Our Lord and Savior in 2013.
Mary has grown the income tax preparation business through acquisition of three other individually owned tax preparation businesses. These acquisitions have made Fuller Tax Service one of the largest independently owned income tax preparation businesses in Henderson.
Currently Fuller Tax Service has four tax professionals, Mary Fuller, Imogene Powell, Karen Dossett and Sandra Culley. Mary’s daughter, Jessica Lett, helps with bookkeeping clients and tax preparation and Mary’s son, John David Lett, has helped with tax return preparation. Mary’s niece, Jamie Trodglen, is the Office Manager.
The staff at Fuller Tax Service is highly knowledgeable with some having Associates to Masters Degrees as well as annual continuing education classes.
